Greetings stranger, and a warm welcome to Nymira. Many have thought us to be long since gone since the eruption of Mount Aedos a decade ago, however this is a false rumor. The land is rocky, but we have made our back here and rebuilt. With hard work, we have plowed fields, planted forests, and learned to deal with what we have been handed. We have begun to prosper once more, though the monster threat has grown. As the land recovers from the trauma, so do they, just as we are. Still, if you stay in town, you'll be safe enough. If you'd like, stay here and rest awhile. We have an inn, just down the road, and I'm sure the villagers would be happy enough to help you build a house if you choose to stay. If you need anything, just ask for me, Mayor Toren and I'll see what I can do for you. However, I must go now, I have business to attend to. Take a look around, and please do enjoy your stay, however long you may make it....

Based off of the Rune Factory games, Rise From Ashes is an intermediate roleplaying game in which you play as a new resident, a settled resident, or a visitor to Nymira. You can choose from a range of professions, fight monsters and wander through the landscapes surrounding the island. However, we don't focus much on the statistics of the battles. We aim for inter-character relationships, much like a third of the game does. We still have many canons available, and we don't mind if you bring in characters from the games, either! So, if you want to have some fun, perhaps farm a few crops or make a few swords, stop by.
