Scotty is Chief Engineer on this fine vessel, and does his best to keep a clean shop. His job takes up a lot of his time and causes some trouble in his personal relationships, but if you're willing to look past his scatterbrained tendencies, he can be a loyal ally and a good friend. He can be found in engineering every waking moment of his life most of the time, and if you need anything fixed, he's your guy.

Lorelai is the former wife of the ship's good doctor, and still loves him wants nothing to do with him. Except for the fact that she only signed on for this mission because she was worried about him, but we won't talk about that. Their story is a depressing and somewhat complicated one, but it involves the loss of a child and a lot of angry things said that one or both of them probably didn't mean. She's a botanist, and she likes to take care of plants that eat things. She's hoping for some away team action once the ship gets out near some planets with scary native plant life, but we'll have to see about that.
