PERSONALITY: Spock has spent his entire life fighting his human emotions. He was constantly teased as a child for feeling too much about anything and everything. He's had his own vendetta about proving to the universe that his vulcan heritage is the dominant one. While he does feel emotions, he works very hard at calming them, and not allowing them to interfere with the matters at hand. He believes that above all else he must remain resistant to feeling too much about any given thing. So even though he does feel things for others and about certain things, he knows that it is in everyone's best interest if he keeps those feelings to himself.
He struggles occasionally with outbursts of emotions. He's not quite where he wants to be when it comes to being logical all the time. Above everything, he believes that the logical decision should trump everything. So while he loves and feels anger toward others, he knows the logical thing for him to do is remain unaffected by things that happen. His human half makes this very difficult however, and he may sometimes have outbursts. For example, he beat the crap out of Captain Kirk when Kirk crossed the line and insulted his love for his mother. Very few things can get him to react emotionally over logic, but he has not gone far enough in closing himself off that he doesn't feel strongly about many things.
HISTORY: Spock was born on Vulcan. His father was a diplomat and scientist, and on a journey to earth he met Spock's mother, Amanda Grayson. He married her for claimed logical reasons, and it wasn't until much later that Spock found out it was for love. Spock grew up constantly being teased for being half human. He spent much of his childhood being treated as a lesser vulcan because his mother was human. Eventually he proved himself as a strong and logical young vulcan, but he turned down the acceptance to Vulcan Science academy in order to join Starfleet. He started at Starfleet and worked his way up very quickly, being relatively advanced among many of the other students.
He eventually became an instructor, and was asked to join the crew of the USS enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike. He briefly became Captain himself, until his emotions stood in the way of his ability to lead, and he stepped down for Kirk to take his place as captain. Since then he's become content with his role as first officer, and cannot wait to begin his next mission aboard the USS Enterprise. He briefly had a fling with Uhura, but he cut it off when he found himself growing way to attached to her. As much as he loves her, he knows that it would destroy everything he's worked for.
OUT OF CHARACTER - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
NAME/ALIAS: GAGA HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN RPING: 4eva! WHERE DID YOU FIND US: under a rock somewhere. DID YOU READ THE RULES:edit FACE CLAIM: Zachary sexypantz Quinto RP SAMPLE: She'd gotten lost in the moment, and immediately she regretted it. She knew that there was no way anyone could know that she had feelings for him. It wasn't like she'd displayed it with a neon sign. She just had horrible hearing today. Besides, hanging onto his kisses was definitely worth it. Even though she missed him now. She missed kissing him, and she missed the way it had felt when he slammed her up against that wall. Sure, the time she'd practically fallen through hadn't been all that great, but he'd been so careful every other time that it just added to her admiration for him. She figured that she'd gotten away with a lusty kiss, and that was enough. It would have to be enough, because she couldn't do or say anything else to compare with what had just happened. Everything else would be real. At least that kiss she could disguise as an in character mistake on timing. How delicious his lips were, how she'd almost said his name instead of his character's were really only minor details. She was just thinking about it too much. There was no way anyone had picked up on it. They were friends and nothing more. She looked at the ring on his finger and her heart ached. God, why did he have to be married?
She couldn't help but melt every time he talked to her. She loved the way he portrayed his character because when she saw the real Jacob, she realized that he wasn't anything like that guy. Yet he had the ability to make her believe that he was the character he was playing. She loved that he had that strength on camera and only hoped that someday she'd be able to match him. Still, he was so down-to-earth and kind of shy, and she just wanted to squeeze him every time he blushed. It was like an addiction, only worse. She couldn't get him out of her head. She'd be a bit relieved when the film was over. She would still have to see him while they promoted it, but she wouldn't be spending all day pretending to love him. Oh who was she kidding? She'd be spending all day, actually loving him, and watching as he and his wife laughed and had a grand old time touring the world to promote his movie. There was nothing wrong with bringing your spouse on promotional tours, and based on how gorgeous the woman was, she doubted she'd be able to compete. Not that she was the type to compete for a married man's heart. She knew that some actresses did that, but it just wasn't something she was interested in.
"Nah." She said with a teasing grin and stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "I'll say that anyway." She said with a laugh and punched his arm playfully. "I'm kiddin'." She said with a warm grin and then a strange noise erupted from her belly. She laughed a bit and blushed covering her tummy with her hands. "Jeez, wanna go get some food? I am starving." She smiled at him, a bit embarrassed by the noise, but her blush faded quickly. She wasn't the type to stay worried about what other people thought for long. Sure, she could get a bit paranoid, her entire life was based on what other people thought of her, but she tried not to let it completely ruin her. Besides, it was hardly the first time her stomach had growled on set. It shouldn't surprise him by now. Her stomach growled again, urging her to fill it up soon. It was pretty late, but food came first, sleep later. "So how about it?" She said, giving him her best puppy dog eyes and pouty face. She broke out into a grin before she could help herself. She was never good at holding funny faces, she always made herself smile.
