Shepherds we shall be
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
In nomine Patri, et fili. Spiritus Sancti

The brothers lost a friend, and eight years later, they lost their father, escaping just before the police could get to them. Broken and downhearted, Connor and Murphy took their father's body to Ireland and buried him at the old McManus homestead there. They stayed there at the homestead for five years, not sure if - when they left - whether or not they'd actually ever want to come back. But it was the old family homestead, and they knew that they would never be able to completely give the place up. But, they knew it would be there if they ever wanted to come back to get away from the rest of the world. But with all they'd seen and done, there was nowhere they could go that they would be able to completely get away from the world. Little did they know, the city that they'd just saved would quickly fall back into it's old corrupt ways, and two of their friends would get caught in the crossfire - one losing their life and the other losing their sense of security.
They see rapists, murderers, and child molesters gettin' outta jail.
Mafiosos gettin' caught with 20 kilos
Gettin' out on bail the same fuckin' day

When Consezio Yakavetta was executed by the McManus brothers, the Italian mafia fell into chaos. Who would replace him? Who could bring order to an organization that had fallen apart at the seams? Enter Vito Macavelli, a soft spoken gentleman that possessed a ruthless hunger for power. At his side, his daughter Alexandra; she is just as soft spoken as her father, but she also possesses his ruthlessness as well. Plus, she has proven herself to be his top assassin. The Russian mafia has also found their new leader in Pavel Chekovich, his son Alexei his right hand and second in command. Both sides knew that they had to get rid of the McManus brothers for their respective crime syndicates to make any headway anywhere. So, there was a secret meeting that was attended by only four people: Vito Macavelli with his daughter Alexandra and Pavel Chekovich with his son Alexei. At this meeting, terms of peace were discussed until the McManus brothers could be dealt with properly. That's when Pavel's son Alexei brought up a good point: the brothers wouldn't return unless they had a reason to. It was agreed that a message would be sent.

Doc along with Lacie McKeltar and her twin brother Aiden were the three easily accessible connections that the McManus brothers had in the US. Romeo was still in the Hoag Maximum Security prison, so no one could get to him. Vito and Pavel got together a small group of their best soldiers, sending them to McGinty's Irish Pub. The place was in shambles before sunrise - full of bullet holes, smashed bottles, and tables and chairs thrown askew. For Aiden McKeltar, Vito Macavelli put his daughter's top assassination skills to work. He made sure to tell her to kill him and make it look like the brothers had done it - two bullets through the head, arms crossed over the chest, and the pennies in the eyes. She did as was told, leaving him for his twin sister, Lacie to find him the next morning when she entered the apartment they shared after her shift at The Blue Diamond, a downtown strip club. The final phase of the plan was assigned to Pavel Chekovich's son Alexei; his target: Lacie McKeltar. He knew she would be easy to take care of since she was still reeling from the murder of her brother. Alexei caught her in an alley on her way to McGinty's after her job at The Blue Diamond. He grabbed her and pulled her into the darkness; there, he beat and raped her then drug her to the doorstep of McGinty's and left her there. Doc found her and took her in, taking her to the spare room; the lies just kept piling up, no one willing to talk about what they saw or heard, and because of that, the injustices were going unchecked. Even with two new F.B.I. agents in town - one of them a protege of former agents Paul Smecker and Eunice Bloom - chaos was reigning once again.
Destory that which is evil
So that which is good can flourish.

Connor and Murphy - still in Ireland - kept getting a nagging feeling that something back in Boston just wasn't right. Something kept calling them back, telling them that they needed to get back as soon as possible. Packing up, they caught the first ship headed to the States. As soon as their feet had hit US soil in Boston Harbor, Connor and Murphy could feel that something wasn't right. Injustice seeped from every pore of the city, and it hung heavy in the air around them. The boys made their way to McGinty's knowing that Doc would have a place to let them stay, but as they walked in and looked around the empty bar, they instantly knew that something wasn't right. Rushing up to the spare room, opening the doors to find Doc bent over a still body that was lying on the pool table. Upon further inspection, the boys found that it was their friend Lacie McKeltar. After cleaning Lacie up as best they could, Doc took Connor and Murphy back down to the bar to get a drink and to fill them in on what all was going on. He told them everything he knew, from the information that the mafias had new bosses to the murder of Lacie's twin brother Aiden and how it was setup to look like they'd done it. When Lacie woke up and joined them down in the bar, she told them the full details of what had happened to her brother and then what had happened to her. That's when that vengeful fire re-ignited in the boys' eyes, but Lacie was determined that they weren't going to do this alone. However, the brothers refused to let her come along with them, but Lacie has never been one to do as she's told......ever!
