invitation only, grand farewells,
---------------------------------------------------
crash the best one of the best ones, clear liquor and cloudy eyed.
too early to say goodnight, our dreams assured, we will sleep well

for you have stolen my heart.
Juliet had been busy writing down something, when she felt the weight shift on her desk. A small binder of logs had just been placed beside her, looking up to notice the playful wink from one of her male co-workers. Juliet smiled right back at him, a fellow engineer by the name of Sullivan, one of the few who had noted her frequent trips to the records keeper's office. She always seemed to be the first volunteer to go down to see the young man who kept to himself. She was also one of the few who ever got a word out of him other than a mumble. She picked up the papers and stacked them up neatly, before holding them close to her chest as she stood from her chair. She was done for the day, even if she had about a half an hour left for her shift. It was almost like she did it on purpose, so that she would go down there while it was still considered work. Yes, she was clever, more than you thought.
She knew that she was going out on a limb here with her feelings, but it wasn't something that she could control. She was sweet and energetic, a friendly girl who would do anything to help anyone, and it probably wouldn't be hard for her to get someone to fall for her with her lovable antics. But the problem was that she had already fallen. Without knowing anything about him, Juliet felt all of the little things that went with a rapid heartbeat when she went down there. She wouldn't let it show, or stare at him for too long in the fear of being caught, but she was intrigued. He probably didn't see anything in her, but she was always more than happy to see him. Even if he didn't say much.
So the Yeoman picked up her pace as she rushed down the hallway, nearly bumping into another crew member as she made her way to her final destination. Juliet giggled sheepishly and offered a heartfelt apology, but she was off before she could get a response. She knew that he wouldn't leave, he was always there, but she wanted to get there before someone else did. She'd never seen anyone, save for one of the chefs that took him food, but she always wanted to be there first. Juliet stopped once she reached his door, taking in a light breath and reaching up to brush her stray hairs out of her face, before putting on a smile as she reached up to lightly knock on his door. But before she did, she stopped herself.
What if he was working? She didn't want to put him in a bad mood... no, they had talked before and he had cleared the air. But was it just a fluke? Even when he did put his arm behind her shoulders, or glance at her as if she were the only person in the world? What about when he saved her from the coffee pot incident? Was it a dream? Not sure at this point, she slowly opened the door and peered inside, her bright green eyes searching for him. "Logan? I--I, umm, I brought the logs," she said, her confidence kicking in only after she said his name. Even his name made her nervous. God, she was a mess for this man, and he didn't even know it. Not yet.
