Sky raced down the halls of the USS Enterprise. It usually gave her a headache seeing the white on white on white walls, but she wasn't paying attention to that just now. A few paces ahead of her, always just out of reach, was a great shaggy beast. It was covered in long grey, black, and white fur. Within it's jaws was what appeared to be a personal communicator. The wolf was loping along. It was definitely a game of chase, and Sky was definitely losing. And losing...miserably. On the game went as the wolf took another turn, and another in the massive ship.
"Hera!" Sky hollered in anger. "Get your fat ass back here!" The yelling only made the wolf run a little faster. This had started about ten minutes earlier while the girl was in her room. She had had every entention of taking a nice nap when Hera, the wolf, saw the woman empty her pockets. Everything went on Sky's bedside table: comm, I.D., phone number from...someone, phone, etc. Sky hadn't been in her room most of the day, and the only animal she had taken with her was Hypnos, the kingsnake. Hera wasn't a happy camper. So, being the naturally jealous bitch she was, and using her height to her advantage, she grabbed the closest thing to the edge of the shelf: Sky's communicator.
After making sure that Sky could see, Hera rushed out of the door. The game had started. Suddenly, the wolf turned on her back paws, and Sky nearly ran into her quarry. The lieutenant stopped just in time to avoid contact. She stood, ready for anything as the wolf slowly and gently put the comm down. Sky smiled and said in her sweetest of voices, "Good girl..." She stepped forward and in an instant, the timber wolf had picked the little box up again and taken off at a dead sprint. An on-looker would probably think they were playing a game and find it humorus. Those who knew the animal though, and knew that she had a chip in her brain, would know that this was that tiny bit of human in her, and that she was truely trying to 'get back' at Sky for leaving her alone all day.

To say Miles Timber, Lieutenant, and second-best-navigator, was thinking about death would not at the moment be stretching the truth. Rather, the Grim Reaper himself chased the now-quickened steps of the furious young man through the halls of the Enterprise. As before, he walked in a way that turned heads and drew appreciative eyes. But this time he returned none of the gazes, offered no flirtatious comments, and gave no outward appearance that he gave a shit about anyone. He would have loved to go old-school DeathNote - (more like ancient school, given how old that reference was) - on anyone who crossed his path - or anyone with the initials P.C.
Pavel Chekov. Seventeen years of age. Chief navigator of the U.S.S. Enterprise. A Russian whiz-kid genius who had single-handedly pushed Miles Timber out of the number-one spot he had held at the Academy for five straight years.
Oh yes, Miles Timber was thinking about death. Primarily Chekov's. It would happen. The man - the boy - had a weakness. Perhaps that red-skirted ensign...Sarabeth...anyone looking at her would know how she felt about the jailbait. Miles didn't know how important she was, but then again Chekov was only a boy. He probably didn't even know what masturbation was, let alone...
A wolf ran by him.
The unexpectedness of the entire situation was so sudden that it actually stopped Miles Timber in his tracks. His brain ticked for a full five seconds trying to piece together what he had seen, and then he turned around very slowly to see the loping tail of the wolf disappear around a corner. He had a feeling that he knew that wolf from somewhere - a memory, ticking at the edges of his mind, for the time being pushing away the blind hatred of a certain Russian and starting up the engines of dread.
The Grim Reaper would not be satisfied with Chekov right now. It seemed it was after Miles. Because as Miles turned forward and saw the red-haired woman coming towards him, chasing the wolf, he thought for an actual moment that he was about to die.
"You?!"[/b]

Sky stopped. Ok, so she tripped, fell on her face, rolled, and stood back up and brushed herself off, but it's still a stop right? Anyway. A voice had spoken. A voice that she knew and remembered all too well. She refused to look in the direction it came from. NO NO NO NO NO! her thoughts seemed to scream. It can't be! Not here! She continued to brush herself off, not really knowing what to do. "I? she asked as she looked up.
The man was tall, dark, and breathtakingly handsome. He had an air about him that just screamed "sexy". It disgusted Sky. She met his dark brown eyes with her bright blue ones and just held them there. The hatred burning in her was almost painful. Finally, Sky cracked a grin. If he was here, it meant he'd have to deal with her just as much as she'd have to deal with him. It would work both ways. That in itself was satisfying. Yes, Sky was still a little bit of a spoiled brat, and this particular man brought out the worst in her.
"Lieutenant Miles Gotham Timber..." she smirked. Yes, she was looking her older brother in the face. They looked absolutely nothing alike. Sky was redheaded, blue-eyed and kinda short. Miles was darkhaired, brown-eyed, and tall. Almost without thinking, Sky reached down and pulled her pistol from it's holster, unconciously setting it to 'stun' with her thumb and aiming at his face. "Get off my ship." In this case, she didn't mean 'my' as in she owned it, only that she was assigned to it and was an officer. She felt she had rights to the Enterprise over her brother...after all, he was only second best.

His phaser was in his hand, set to stun, the moment her voice breathed his name into the sterile air. He didn't even give himself time to gloat over her trip and fall. Tripping and falling was her way of tricking people into thinking she was less than what she was. His mind raced to try to piece together what he was seeing, but really all he could see was her phaser, aimed directly at him. Her voice hissed for him to get off her ship, and the image of a cobra rose in his mind. A serpent. That's what she was, a serpent, a sneaking little manipulator who killed just as fast as looked at someone. The demon-child herself stood in front of him...in....a uniform...with the same rank....
"You. In Starfleet. What the fuck are you doing here."
The idea didn't even compute! She had never once even acted like the stars were her thing, never once hinted that her future lay in Starfleet as an officer aboard the grand flagship. She rode horses, shot her brothers in the chest, and generally terrorized the family ranch, but the stars? The idea made absolutely no sense.
"What was the name of the lunatic that put you in that uniform and gave you that phaser?" His voice was dropping with each word and dripping with hatred and shock. And dread. Slowly, a new thought began to truly take shape in his mind. He was here, on this ship, as a punishment. A little tiff back on the Sargasso, and they had transferred him to the Enterprise, presumably because the captain was just as cocky and just as unlikely to take Miles's shit as Miles was to take his. A 'breaking,' so to speak. But now the new idea was clearer. This wasn't just a breaking, this was a taming and a punishment. First, they had put him on the same ship as Pavel Chekov, clearly intending to try to school him in the ways of humility. And now they had added the demon-child as the overseer to whip him into shape.
I have to get off of this ship.

Sky laughed. No, Sky had to work from doubling over in pain from laughing so hard. Here, in the flesh, Miles Timber, actually pulled his phaser on her. "Miles, put your toy away. If I can shoot at you and hit the target at the age of 3, I'm pretty sure I can still do it. You know I'm faster than you. Don't even try it. That would be why I'm the Chief Tactical Officer aboard the Enterprise. Now, dear brother, put it down." Toward the end of her tyrade, all laughter left her voice. Her tone became one of cold, ruthless fury.
Her voice could chill a heart and make even the strongest of men shiver. It was something she had learned how to do as a small child, partly becuase of the man before her. She knew, even as she spoke, that he wouldn't put his phaser away, so she shot. She was holding her pistol with her left hand, but that was no excuse. Sky knew he'd be able to dodge it the second she pulled the trigger. She aimed slightly high and to the right. Would've hit him if he'd held still.
The lieutenant silently berated herself for such lousy aim. She should'nt've missed. She dodged the return fire, anticipating his reaction and held her ground. Most people would dodge around a corner at this point, but Sky wasn't 'most people'. She stood tall, staring her brother down. She tossed the gun to her right hand and took aim once more. This time her aim was his weapon, and she was dead on. He'd have to have lightning reflexes to keep it in his hand. "Miles Timber!" she screamed. "I'll fucking kill you if you take another shot." To make her point clear, she changed the setting of her phaser and walked closer to him, now with her gun aimed on the navigator's face.

Commander Spock was about to turn the corner when he heard the sound of a gun-shot behind him, loud and clear. Spinning around, he set a brisk pace in the direction of the noise, almost running down the long hallway stretched out before him. Breaking up fights between crew members wasn't necessarily something that the Vulcan Commander enjoyed, but he usually ended up being the one to take care of it. Spock was, after all, one of the only commanding officers who roamed the halls. Everyone else was off taking care of “more important matters”, which usually consisted of sitting in their offices, doing absolutely nothing.
As Spock rounded the corner, he immediately saw the source of the noise. Two crew members – one with a gun pointed at the other. The female who held the gun was recognizable to Spock. It was the woman from the bar, the one who had insulted him. Well, now was his opportunity to get back at her, he supposed. There would be no blood shed on her account. Reaching down, Spock took hold of his own pistol, just in case Sky decided to stand against him and shoot him, instead. It seemed likely, after what had happened the previous night.
“I'll fucking kill you if you take another shot.”
“There will be no killing in these halls,” Spock said, casting an angry look at Sky, and then at Miles. Please tell me what is going on here, Lieutenant.” Spock directed this statement at Sky, who he was eager to scold. The Commander didn't recognize the other man, but he wasn't Spock's main priority.

Jamie pulled the rubber band from her long light brown hair, letting it fall around her shoulders. Her eyes glanced happily over the computer in which she'd just helped fix one of the many machines in the two Engineering Decks. Though at least now the warp was going to work and there wasn't a reason it shouldn't...unless someone went and messed it up again that is. That's the reason why Jamie had been down in the Engineering deck with Montgomery so much lately, because sometimes things get messed up while others get fixed.
She waved bye to the few other engineers that where on the deck before she headed for the turbolifts. Jamie was going to go until she got to her room so that she could change from her uniform but a gun-shot yelled loud and clear as she started to pass one of the decks. Quickly she got off and glanced around. Miles Timber, Sky's voice echoed through the halls. Timber...hey he's her brother? Or...is he mine? Why's she yelling at him? I'll fucking kill you if you take another shot. Oh crap. Jamie thought taking off at a sprint trying to find out where the voices where coming from.
There will be no killing in these halls. Another voice said and instantly Jamie cringed. Crap, the worst person to walk in on this was the ships first officer, Spock. Well I'm not even there yet and It's already jumped from one craze to another. Jamie thought as she sped down the halls. Slowing down she went to turn a corner and quickly stopped, only her red/light brown hair showing around the corner. Quickly scampering back she leaned against the wall. She wasn't to keen on being pulled into this but then she wanted to hear it all.
A weird sound came down the hall behind Jamie, looking over her shoulder she felt her jaw drop. A huge wolf was running...right at her. Attempting to turn all the way around, didn't work because apparently the wolf got her idea before Jamie even figured out what to do. "EP!" She yelped in surprise as the Wolf ran right into the back of her knees sending Jamie sprawling to the ground. To much for the listen without being seen...or heard part. She thought mentally kicking herself and wondering where the hell the wolf had came from. Sitting up, Jamie watched as the wolf looked at her before turning the corner and running right past Sky, Spock, and Miles.
Standing up and straightening her red shirt and blank slacks, she wanted to keep as much dignity as the klutzy assistant chief engineer could. Walking around the corner, Jamie came to a stop beside Sky, once again smiling because of how close they looked alike. Well this should be intresting. She thought glancing from Spock to Miles and back again. Not knowing what to say or do...or really what she'd just...fell in on.

Sky laughed at him as he pulled his phaser, and Miles had to shake his head and dig his nails into his palm. The urge to shoot her as she bent over laughing was so strong that the edges of his eyes tinged with red. That was her problem, the fucking bitch. She thought she was so much better than everyone else. She thought that just because she was the demon-child, she could do anything and no one would think twice about crossing her. He longed to teach her a lesson right then and there, but fear of what she might do in retaliation made him pause. That pause cost him dearly.
She began to speak, and her voice grew harder and colder with each word. At the end of it all she actually fired her phaser - and suddenly it became real. Miles was in the air before he knew what he was doing, and out of reflex he shot back. His training shouted at him that he was doing something wrong, that firing on a friendly was a courtmartial offense. But at the same time he thought she fired first. It would not be enough of a defense, but it was a start.
As it was, the icy chill of Commander Spock's voice cut through the air like an icicle, shattering the heat of the moment. Miles instantly straightened, trying to look like the 'good boy' there, (he even put his phaser away). But before he could even begin to speak to Spock about how he had been fired upon, the demon-child asexually multiplied.
No, she didn't either.
But a mirror image came walking down the hall to stand beside the demon like an obedient doppelganger, the same smile and same turn of the head now appearing twice instead of once before his eyes. For the first time ever, Miles Timber wanted to turn and run away from his sister - run as fast as he could, to the point of his feet bleeding and running some more. For a moment, he literally thought his sister had summoned another demon like herself to put him into a true hell.
And then his logical side won out and he blinked and realized that the woman beside his sister was, in fact, a twin. Very possibly related. Very possibly. Very...
He wasn't saying anything right now. It was all on Sky to explain the doppelganger and the reason why she had shot at her brother in the hallway.

Sky took her sweet time before explaining what had just occured. If she remembered correctly, the last two minutes had gone somewhat like this: Sky was chasing Hera. Hera ran by Miles. Miles noticed Sky. Sky pulled her phaser. Sky shot. Miles dodged. Miles shot. Sky dodged. Spock arrived. Jamie arrived. Yep, that's what happened. The woman took a deep breath and knew, but the sound of his voice, that the commander wasn't playing. After a few more seconds, she relaxed her grip on her phaser and flipped it in her hand.
Glancing at her mirror image, she smiled. Her head nodded once, in acknowledge ment then she turned back to Spock. Another long breath, and she walked toward him. Really, there was only a few things that mattered. Miles had already put his phaser back in its holster. Goody goody bastard, Sky thought. Her eyes met the commander's and she held her pistol out to him, barrel to herself. "I shot first, Commander." Four words. That was all that was needed. As for offering him her pistol, it was expected. She had fired upon another officer of starfleet and it was no longer set to stun. Spock could have her thrown in prison for life.
She looked away. "It was rash of me. Miles is my brother...we're not on the best of terms. The idea of sharing the ship with him disgusted me. He pulled his phaser and I shot first." That was the complete and total truth. Sky was ashamed of herself for not letting Miles take the first shot. It had only been engraved into her memory. Her eyes traveled back to Spock. There was nothing he could do that would phase her. Or at least, she hoped.

Spock studied the three (now that Jamie had joined them) carefully, his arms folded across his chest in a superior sort of way. Miles had straightened up immediately upon the Commander's arrival, putting his gun away just as quickly as he had drawn it, and standing up as straight as possible. Sky, on the other hand, cast a smile at the other girl – who could be her twin – and made her way towards Spock. He was surprised when the Lieutenant voluntarily handed him her pistol, barrel-first, explaining that she had shot first, practically begging to be punished. He could have her demoted or locked away. Or he could go the easy route and have her confined to her quarters. Whichever way, Sky had angered him for the last time. First, she had thoroughly insulted him in front of two other officers, and now she thinks it wise to wreak havoc upon the Enterprise?
Spock cast her what he thought was his angriest stare, taking the pistol from her hand and putting it away in his belt. “You do realize that gun-fights in these halls are prohibited, don't you, Lieutenant Timber?” he questioned, more of a statement, really. Of course it was prohibited. “I could have you demoted for this. You are lucky I have more pressing matters to attend to than to witness your demotion.”
The Commander hadn't witnessed the fight; he still didn't know who had drawn their weapon first, and that was a key fact in decided punishment. ”Lieutenant,” Spock said, nodding his head in Miles direction. “I find that two sides of a story are often better than one. Please, tell me what caused your sister to fire upon you. Was she . . . provoked?” Of course, he knew that Miles was involved somehow. He had to have provoked her. Either that, or Sky was just as crazy as Spock had thought.

Jamie stood there, still looking from side to side. Yeah, at least she knew that Spock knew her, but Miles was another story. She'd never seen this man in her life and here he was, her older brother. She could barely keep herself form laughing because the look on Miles's face. It simply said that he really didn't want to be here. If his and Sky's relationship was as bad as it seemed, then she would have wanted to run if someone she hated suddenly had a twin. Wow, It'll rock his world when he finds out there's three of us. She said, and grinned sweetly...well it probably seemed a bit demonic to the man across from her but still it was a smile.
Her gaze wandered to Spock and wondered if it'd been the smartest thing to do by walking to stand right by her sister. They did look a lot alike but there where a few differences, luckily. She glanced over at Sky just as her triplet smiled and nodded her head. Wonder if she knows that her wolf was the one who totally used me as a bowling cue. She thought as she watched Sky take a few steps towards the Commander. I shot first, Commander. Jamie cringed, yeah Sky was in trouble. Shooting first at another officer wasn't good at all, it could get her demoted or put in the brig or prison. Yeah...she was in deep water.
It was rash of me. You could say that again sis, Jamie rolled her eyes briefly wanting to tease her sister, even though...this was horrible yet Miles did give off that vibe that made even Jamie want to be slightly rash. Only slightly though. Miles is my brother...we're not on the best of terms. The idea of the sharing the ship with him disgusted me. He pulled his phaser and I shot first. Hm...it was wrong that she had shot first but she prayed that Commander Spock thought to ask if she had done it because she thought that she would be shot first.
Jamie watched as Spock made a statement that everyone knew was true. Duh, we aren't supposed to do gun-fights between ourselves at all! What got Jamie was how he said it as a statement. To her it seemed like he was just telling her just to shove it in her face that hey she'd done something wrong. Biting her lip slightly to keep her comments to herself she listened as he spoke on what he could do to Sky. She felt like cringing when he said this that he could have her demoted. Though as he went on it seemed like he wasn't going to do it for some reason.
When he turned to Miles she kept her gaze on Sky for a second before glancing at the brother she'd never met but already slightly hated. As he spoke she wondered what Miles was going to say, but in the middle of Spock talking Jamie felt something hit her in the back of the knee. Jumping ever so slightly, she glanced back and saw the same wolf that had knocked her down before. This time the thing that had been in her mouth before was at Jamie's feet. The wolfs tongue was lolling around in her mouth happily as Jamie reached down and picked up the thing, it was a comm. When the wolves gaze travled to Sky, so did Jamie's. Grinning, Jamie instantly knew that this wolf was Sky's, she'd seen it before in one of her moments of seeing into Sky's world. And here the wolf was, putting a comm at her feet, as she gazed at her sister she lifted the comm and smiled. Guessing it was hers, Jamie slipped it into her bag and once again turned to pay attention to her brother and Spock.

Well. To say Miles Timber was surprised would be an understatement. His sister - his little sister, the demon-child - physically stepped forward, handed her weapon to the Vulcan, and outwardly confessed her own guilt? His shock flickered across his face, and he almost dropped his mouth open. Somehow, though, he stayed rigid still, and listened closely as the commander - Spick? Stock? he needed to get the man's name soon - delicately tore Sky to pieces for shooting at another officer in the hallway. Even the bits about how he wasn't going to demote Sky didn't surprise him as much as Sky stepping forward and taking responsibility. Next to Sky, the Lieutenant Doppelganger shifted, eyes shooting left and right between the two, clearly wondering where this conversation was going.
Well for the moment, it was going to him. The Vulcan had turned his intense eyes on Miles, and Doppelganger followed with a glare of her own. Miles visibly swallowed, wishing he was somewhere else - anywhere else - at the moment. He was vividly aware that the only reason he was alive right now was the presence of the Commander. But he didn't likely need to reveal that. What he needed to reveal was the absolute truth. Vulcans demanded nothing less, and judging from the commander's beatdown of Sky, Sky needed some support too.
Wait. Helping the demon-child? Was he mad?
No, not really. If you don't help the devil at least once, you are most definitely damned.
"Commander," he began, then paused, thinking. How best to explain this? "If you call my pulling my phaser on her the moment I saw her provocation, then I guess I am guilty of provoking her. She and I sparred a lot as children, and we have not seen each other for years. In fact, I had no idea she was in Starfleet." he glared at her as he said this. "I pulled my phaser because the last time I saw her, we had an unfinished fight. I thought she would want to continue it. It was childish of me - of us - for not considering our surroundings."
He could have gone on and fashioned a real lie out of the story, but he was keeping it as close to the truth as he remembered it - and as neutral as possible in an attempt to keep the commander from demoting Sky. If she was demoted, he was pretty sure he would be maimed for life.

Sky had to look at the floor in shame as Spock verbally tore her to pieces. If he'd just demote her, it'd be easier for her to handle. But for him to let her own up like that, then look down at her in basically disgust. It was hard for a Vulcan to get to Sky. She decided it was the human side of him. The Vulcan demanded respect. The human part of Spock actually earned it. Sky took a deep breath and looked Spock in the eye, ready for anything. In a way, she was almost trying to make up for what she had done at their last meeting. Afterall, she regretted the words she had spoken.
Well, she thought she was ready for anything. If it hadn't been for her training, she woul've wheeled and stared at her older brother in complete shock. Never in her entire life, had Miles tried to get her out of trouble. He was always trying to get her in trouble. It was quite hard, her being the baby of the family and the only girl. He had a right to dislike her. But help her!? Sky was absolutely amazed.
She could feel Jamie's eyes on her and she turned around. There, in her sister's hand, was Sky's comm. And at Jamie's feet, was Hera. A glare that could burn right through you was sent to the wolf, who immediately hid behind Jamie's legs. "Traitor..." Sky hissed bitterly. Then again...so am I? I fired upon a starfleet officer. The thought made Sky's initial shock seem like nothing. Now she was shocked. I'm a traitor. She thought it again.
She turned to Miles and then to Spock in horror. "Sky? ...the traiter, Sky?" that's what they'll say... The woman was close to panic, but she kept it all precisely under control. She would not lose it in front of these two gentlemen. Another deep breath and a few blinks and Sky was about back to where she had started out.

“An unfinished fight?” Spock demanded, looking first at Miles, and then at Sky. Both of them were confessing . . . Strange, considering the fact that they obviously hated one another. They didn't exactly look at each other with love in their eyes; however, it may just be “sibling rivalry” or whatever they called it. “Please enlighten me, Lieutenant.” This time, Spock spoke to the both of them. ”Who gave you the authority to manipulate the laws of this ship? Every cadet aboard the Enterprise is aware of the guidelines upon their induction. I was led to believe that a Lieutenant, who by far surpasses the knowledge of an average cadet, would think . . . well, logically. And initiating a gun-fight in the middle of the USS. Enterprise isn't exactly logical, is it?” Spock directed his last statement at Sky, casting her that same furious stare, folding his arms over his chest like he usually did when in a “commanding” mood.
Spock knew that Sky was truly sorry for what she had said to him in the bar, and even for what she had done just now, but he couldn't let her get away with what she had done for a second time. Last night, he had the chance to demote her, but he hadn't taken that chance. Now, because he had let her go the first time, Spock would have to punish her. It wouldn't be fair otherwise. But what about Miles? Sky had fired first, but he had pulled out his gun on her, provoking her. Was it Miles' fault that the fight had started? If he hadn't have pulled his gun on Sky, would there have even been a fight? It didn't matter. Miles was just as guilty as Sky was, and Spock wasn't about to let him go unpunished. But before inflicting punishment on anyone, Spock wanted to make his point clear.
“Well?” he questioned, raising an eyebrow. ”Was this truly logical? You have both accepted the fact that you were in the wrong, and for that I am grateful, but that does not grant you immunity from punishment. Now, the question still stands. What will I do with you?” Alright, so he was having a little too much fun with his victims, and they probably both hated him now, but this was all a part of his job. It was nothing personal. Picking on officers wasn't something that Spock thoroughly enjoyed, but it was something that had to be done.

Jamie watched as Spock seemed to tear Sky apart, it seemed like he knew the exact right words to make her feel horrible. Though when Jamie's gaze moved to Miles she watched in awe as her glare earned a gulp. Dang he's either really scared of Sky or just horrified that now there's two of us...hm, wonder what he'll think when we find 'Zona. She thought of this as she glanced back at Spock. Jamie felt like she really shouldn't be here, but then it'd help for her to be here, at least for Sky, if the commander did something rash. Though barely knowing Commander Spock didn't give her much leeway on figuring out what he might do to her sister and...brother.
After everything Jamie had heard about how bad Miles had been, she hadn't even thought that he would stand up for Sky. Though how wouldn't he know she was in Starfleet? Or was it just Jamie's adoptive family that kept charge of everyone? She knew that Jeremy was on one of the other Starfleet ships but she had thought that Alex had been assigned to the Enterprise but it didn't seem like he was here. Maybe Jamie's real family wasn't as tight as the Waters was...well she couldn't guess right now besides she'd only met one of her biological brothers so far.
Finally Sky noticed that Jamie had been looking at her. She watched as her sister noticed that it was her Comm in Jamie's hands. Slipping it into her black bag over her shoulder, she watched as Sky gave the wolf a total glare that probably could have killed. I wouldn't put that past Sky though..., She thought as she watched the wolf hide behind her legs. Traitor... Jamie turned her gaze back up to Sky to watch as a weird glint flashed in her eyes. She hadn't known Sky long but she could be that it had something to do with what she had just called the wolf...a traitor. Gazing at her sister, she knew that she wasn't a traitor besides stuff like hating your brother kind of ran deep when it was there.
When Spock spoke Jamie kept her face a mask. She knew that Sky and Miles had done wrong but he was comparing them to cadets. Which neither was one, but each had their own reason for doing what had happened. Maybe it was her human emotions getting in the way. Something Spock tried to not let happen it seemed was to be ruled by his emotions, but maybe he needed to think about how a huge sibling rivalry would effect these two. Though Jamie kept her mouth shut and listened waiting to see what he would choose for her sister.
