Jamie sat on her bed with her back against the wall, a book was placed firmly in her hands. The middle of the day, and nothing to do. So far Scotty hadn't contacted her at all, so nothing down in the Engineering Decks to do. And so far she hadn't gotten a call form anyone saying she needed to go break Sky out of anything. Which was good, but still it was one of those days that you would wish something would happen. Her mind slowly left the book in her hands and turned to yesterday and the day before.
She'd found her sister, well one of them. Though it was great news...the bad part was the next day Jamie met her older brother, Miles, who turned out to be a jerk. Well now I'm known as Devil Child #2. She thought happily, and burst out laughing, dropping her book beside her she looked around still laughing. The IA was still off, she still hadn't figured out a way to get it to quit totally hating her existence so she kept it off. She reached to pick up her book but something beeped, jumping off her bed she glanced around. Her gaze coming to a rest on her black bag and remembered that her Comm was still in it.
Walking over she picked it up, and pulled out her comm. Glancing at it, she tilted her head to the side. It wasn't the beeping. Taking a look around her she noticed her computer, sighing she quickly typed in her password and smiled. Her computer just needed the password to finish something. Rolling her eyes she walked to her closet and pulled on her uniform. Red shirt and black slacks, glancing in her mirror she kept her hair down and walked out.
Jamie took a cautious glance around the halls, last time she'd been in them she'd been knocked down by her sisters wolf. Praying to not relive that humiliation she walked quickly to the turbolifts and headed down to the Engineering decks. Hoping off at the 15th deck she glanced around. None of the red lights flashed or anything out of ordinary. Smiling she walked to check on the warp. Besides she was the warp engineer, so she took a quick glance before knowing it was fine.
Jamie turned around and headed towards where she guessed her boss, Scotty would be. As she walked she heard something hit the ground, turning around she didn't see anyone until it was to late. Wa..YIKES! Jamie felt her back collide with something solid before she lost her balance, falling forward. Catching herself as her knees hit the ground she stood, not glancing back. Knowing she'd ran into someone and not something. Trying to keep her dignity she turned around and instantly felt her face grow red with embarrassment.

Chris probably shouldn't have been there, in fact, he was sure he was breaking about 30 rules by doing it. But then again, Chris never was one to always play by the rules. He really had just wanted to take a look around, not stow away, so he figured the worst that could happen was him being kicked out of the ship.
He really didn't know where he was going, at all. He was just sort of... Wandering. Admiring every inch of it, he really didn't even know where exactly on the ship he was, for that matter. Shit, it's going to be a pain in the ass to find my way out of here He thought to himself, keeping his hands in his pockets.
He had wandered only a little ways after when he felt someone bump into him. He immediatly jumped, expecting sucurity or something like them. Instead, he saw a girl. She looked a little familliar, but he never had been good with faces. He didn't know why, it was just something he'd already been bad at.
Eventually, he sighed, and decided to speak. "I'm sorry, did I bump into you?" He asked casually, turning on his usual charm.
He really didn't want to piss anyone off, and smoothe talking was always a damn good way to keep from doing that. Of course, this only worked on girls, as he was straight. But all the same, it would hopefully work its magic yet again.

Jamie kicked herself for being so clumsy and in front of someone too. Well come to think of it, she usually was always a klutz around everyone, even the IA in her room. As her eyes grazed over the man she'd been bumped into by realization popped into her head, just as he sighed and spoke. I'm sorry, did I bump into you? She couldn't help but laugh. Yeah, you did. My fault though, I heard something fall behind me but nothing was there, I might have dropped my comm, it was in the outside of my bag. She pointed to the black shoulder bag that rested on her shoulder.
Raising a finger she glanced around the ground and found her comm, putting it back in her bag she smiled and turned back. She shook her head, not wanting to seem weird but she recognized this man. I think I know you...Chris uh...I forgot your last name but you where in my Engineering classes all through the academy. Your really smart, I didn't know you where assigned to the USS Enterprise. Jamie smiled, guessing that he was aboard then she looked at him again. He didn't seem to be in uniform, but not everyone was since they where on leave.
You are a part of the crew right? I think we're supposed to wear our uniforms when on the Engineering Deck though. She said, her face still red with embarrassment. Though as she kept her gaze on him, she couldn't help but remember how cute he was. In the past she'd been kind of worried to talk to him, but anymore she didn't care. After finding her sister Sky and looking a lot like her she'd been getting over her shyness. Besides everyone thought they knew her but it was really Sky they knew and not Jamie.
As Jamie looked away she realized her face wasn't just red from falling it was red cause she was totally blushing. Yes he had charm and for some reason she fell right into it, why was she like this? Even she didn't know. Smiling she glanced back at him, trying to help the redness in her cheeks to receed. So what did you specialize in? In engineering I mean?

Chris had to laugh, he guessed it was to be expected. He was there after all. But he had to be honest, he wouldn't lie to someone. He did a lot of things, but lying was not normally one of them. "No, I wasn't, I snuck on, but you didn't hear that." He said, giving his signature wink, then it hit him "Oh yeah, Jamie right?"
When she asked Chris with the engineering thing, he sighed. "I kind of just work on and off for Starfleet. I don't get the chance to do that much though." He sighed "Ship scematics... Warp pads." He shrugged "Nothing really special, but seeing as I never actually was assigned to a starship not that big a deal. He commented "I don't really complain though, at least I'm doing something after all, right?"
"So this is where you ended up though, eh?" He commented "Must be fun up there in space." He kind of shrugged.
He wasn't really flirting so much as he was just talking way too much. Another very bad habit of his he knw he really needed to get rid of.
