INTRODUCING ABIGAIL T'LES CARTER;
Abigail honestly is the epitome of the outcasts. She's had few real friends throughout her life (but what do you expect when you have all that emotionless Vulcan logic pumping through the veins of a human prison?)
She prefers to stick to her thing: thing being pretty much limited to work, and doing her best to "fit in" (which essentially means not drawing any more attention to herself than necessary.) Abby prefers sticking to what she knows, Human History, Shakespeare, Vulcan History, and the stars (she is a Stellar Cartographer after all), but on the rare occasion that a (dare I say it) friend drops by, she can be a little more open and laid back, and perhaps a little less...Vulcan.
Sometimes those sticky humans emotions come out (the ones she's tried so long to zone out), and that's the only time there's really cause for concern because it causes her a lot of confusion and anguish. She doesn't enjoy the bar scene or drinking in the slightest, but she likes to work out. And don't stand in the way of her career. It's probably one of the most important things in her life.
In friends, she looks for someone who is loyal and trustworthy. But most importantly, they must be able to deal with her conflicted nature and her sometimes spontaneous attitudes. Abby definitely acts more like her Vulcan half, so if you can get past that, then you're probably good. It may take her some time to open up, considering the fact that her mind is likely on a million and one other things, but when she does, she can prove to be a very worthy person to have as a friend. She may think more in logic, but she's still half human.
Abby doesn't like to have enemies. She prefers to avoid conflict and to resolve issues between herself and others. But sometimes when her human half gets the best of her, she can get a little angry, especially if you disrespect her or her origins.
Abigail gets annoyed quite easily at incompetence or disrespect. So if you avoid those areas, you're probably covered and therefore not really an enemy.
Abigail is not really looking for a lover at the moment, but the possibility of exploring her options is never closed out. Despite her logical nature, she's still a woman, and if she finds something she likes, there's nothing really stopping her except for her own defenses.
So, Abigail really is looking for FRIENDS at the moment, considering she's new on the ship and all. So if you feel up to trying to break through Abby's confusing, self-imposed barrier, then step up to the plate!
