Hikaru Sulu is the 21-year-old helmsman of the U.S.S. Enterprise. He's the approachable type and if you've got some sort of problem that you want to talk about and have someone listen, he's your go to guy. He can cheer you up when you're feeling blue and he's always got some sort of quip to bring a smile to everyone's faces. He tells the truth and sees the best in people. If you're in a fight, he's got your back, as long as you aren't his enemy. He can be kind of clumsy sometimes and he tends to end up getting dragged into mischievous activities. He's not a rebel - he's the voice of reason. He's nerdy and geeky, but that's to be expected from a guy who knows more about warp drive and inertial dampeners than a lady's bra size.

haha. i think riley and sulu would get along greatly. after all, they're both loyal and friendly people. i could see her being like a close friend who is female. maybe there is some chemistry between them, but since she's kind of oblivious to most things, she wouldn't really notice it. she might be a little jealous of uhura, because he has a crush on her, just like every other guy on the ship, but she would just push it aside. she would totally geek out with him, and they'd laugh over the stupidest things, and people could look at them weird, because they were the only two who really got their stupid inside joke. that kind of friendship... if that makes sense.

I can totally see that. They'd probably confide in each other (he probably feels more comfortable talking to women about his life dramas then guys because he doesn't want to lose face). And yes, they can have inside jokes about Kirk or something.

Scout and Sulu should be friends. Just 'cause. xD They are fairly
similar - both pretty cheery, friendly, loyal people. And she could
be one of those people that drag him into mischievous adventures,
because although she tends to be really diligent, dutiful and a good
little soldier, when she gets bored, anything can happen. She's just
adventurous. And she'd probably want him to teach her fencing. xD

EVA.

Umm... they'd probably at least know each other, since Eva
likes to get to know most, if not all, of the people she will be
working with. She's the ship's counselor, so she wants to be
able to know at least a little bit about everyone just in case
they ever need her. -shrug- But yeah, I'm not sure. Up to you. <3

so i have my new character here who is a total geek. she would probably find sulu attractive, but she would hide it because she doesn't really do well with the opposite sex. she's easily nervous and shy, so she would probably giggle and laugh a lot, out of fear really. if you are up for it, maybe they could have a cute little romantic thing, unless you don't want to. i am content with them being just friends if you would prefer that. i just figured that they would have a few things in common, its up to you my friend.

Freida Pinto is awesome. Okay, now that I've said that, I'm going to say that Sulu and her should totally be friends. I'm sure they'd have a lot in common and Sulu would be more than happy to teach her fencing. In fact, he'd be absolutely excited to have someone take an interest in his hobbies. I can totally see the two of them rolling their eyes at certain events that happen on the ship and I don't think he'd mind at all if she dragged him into trouble. He could be sort of like a brother in that he'll be a little annoyed but deep down he'll be having a ton of fun.

Yeah, I think they'd be at least acquaintances seeing as there are only so many people on the ship. If any dire situations come up where he needs counseling though, I'm sure he'd feel comfortable enough to see her about it.

I dunno if he'd have a romantic thing seeing as he's too damn stubborn to do anything relationship-wise (and he's got his eyes on Uhura, who he'll never have). I can see them as friends. Maybe since she's shy, he could help her out with a few things. Perhaps that's how they met? Sulu is kind of accident prone and clumsy sometimes so maybe they bumped into each other and that's something that helped them realize they have things in common? What do you think?[/ul]

Carol could and would so see Sulu as a friend, because Carol is friendly like that. Also she shares his love of Botany, and so she would love to help him water plants and plant things. She more of a science geek but she's also a Doctor and likes to help kiddies who are sick. So like really good guy friend is how I see Carol and Sulu.Though she could have a crush on him to but she won't say anything because she wouldn't want to ruin the friendship they have. And she likes Kirk and doesn't really she herself dating because she hopes Kirk would notice her. She's not really the flirty type so she won't flirt with him at all. Mainly she'll just be really nice and a sweetheart.
