APPEARANCE:
David is an average looking guy. His facial features scream ‘the guy next door’ not ‘hot stud’. His head is oval in shape, with it culminating in a rounded chin. People have said to him that his face was designed for his smile. His lips are pale, but light up his entire face when they curl into a smile or grin. David’s eyes are of light blue colour, but are obscured by a pair of black rimmed glasses. Brow hair sits on top of his head, but is regularly cut in order to keep it manageable. His overall appearance gives the impression of a nice guy.
David’s physique is one of health not athleticism. His weight is in good proportion with his height, so he appears to the naked eye to be in shape, but get him do any form of exercise he doesn’t normally do then he may keeling over in fits of heavy breathing. He only just passed his Starfleet physical tests, and that was due to increased physical training prior to his entrance exams. His body has slightly more body fat on than the average officer.
PERSONALITY:
What David lacks in ‘appearance’ he makes up in personality. From a young age David has always been a very sociable person, one that likes to be involved in conversation of varied topics. That isn’t to say that David is a drama queen and demands centre attention, he is very much the opposite. David loves having friends, and a requirement of that is to allow them to flourish socially as well. In a party David is the ‘matchmaker’, taking satisfaction in other people getting to know each other.
David is thoroughly decisive in his actions. Studying tactical and strategic operations required a quick thinking mind, to be able to decide a course of action instantly. This personality trait has transferred from his academic work into his personal life. A pet peeve of his is indecisiveness. David can not stand idly around while people umm and aah over a decision.
David is not a naturally ‘intelligent’ man, unlike many of his fellow officers constant study is a regular occurrence for the young man. He has always achieved good grades in his academic work, but he has never been the top of his class in any topic. Due to this he tends to put out a stronger exterior to impress his peers and superiors. This exterior doesn’t normally turn into cockiness or arrogance, but he sometimes appears to be eager to question.
HISTORY:
David is the only adopted by Joshua and Oliver Jenkins. Being the son of a gay couple was not entirely unusual in the 23rd century, but he still was the subject of ridicule by many of peers as he grew up. From a young age, David was nurtured in all aspects of development, from academia to creativity. His parents represented two extremes. Joshua was a scholar, a lecturer in Political Sciences at the University of Surrey, Guildford and Oliver was a sculptor. So he was able to gain tutelage in both aspect of human development.
Schooling was average for David, he hovered around the middle of his classes, doing well in classes such as citizenship and ethics in his primary and secondary education, but dropping near the bottom in the sciences. It was common knowledge that he was adopted by a gay couple, and he was widely accepted. However, a few of his classmates, who seemed to be brought up in the 20th century, made it their aim in life to torment him because of it.
The bullying didn’t really affect David; he had fallen into a good group of friend, where his social skills developed well, and he had learnt to brush off the insults with ease. At the age of sixteen he began to think of his future, his interest in social science was growing increasingly prevalent and with pressure from his father he thought of going to university to study as a scholar. However, Star Fleet came along and his view changed completely. One school day Star Fleet gave an information talk and David became enthralled by the ideals of the organisations. To boldly go where no man has gone before! He signed for up for recruitment that day, only to receive a less than warm welcome from his parents. They did not want their son joining the military arm of the Federation.
Leaving home on relative bad terms with his parents he gained just gained acceptance into the Academy on his academic records. His time at the academy were his best times, he began to excel in his academic work being accepted onto advanced strategic and tactical operations. It was great day for him. To David it seemed like his academic talents finally caught up with his desires, but those increases in his talents were pushed to the limit when the promotion was issued to all cadets to active duty. He was assigned to the USS Enterprise as a tactical officer, a position he continues to hold.

NAME/ALIAS: Morgan/David
HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN RPING: 7-8 years
WHERE DID YOU FIND US: RPG-Directoy
RP SAMPLE: Taking one of the few last walks outside of the base into the surrounding countryside he would take in a long time he savoured the moment. Leaving through the VSF he nodded at the guard in the booth before exiting into the warm sun. It had been such a long time since he had experienced weather like this, so he closed his eyes, smiled and took in a deep breath. Days like this were the ones people lived for.
He pulled the zip of his brown leather coat down, letting it to hang loose at his sides, just on the edge of comfort. Looking out across the rolling hills he knew exactly where he wanted to go, the ‘Meadows of Heaven’ as they had been aptly named. It would most likely be his last time in his life visiting there, and it was important he did. It was in the memory of the men and women that died during the invasion which he was resigning for.
Looking upwards the sky was a pure blue, with a few wisps of clouds dotted around. It was definitely a beautiful day. The exercise was light, but it was enough for Jacob to feel in his thighs. Over the few minutes he walked he adjusted to the feeling and it was invigorating, any exercise was of benefit to Jacob nowadays.
His turned to his future while he walked across dirt path, URCS had been his home for the past three years. He had published so much from his position there, it had sparked his academic interest again. One that was not going to be satisfied in some boring job. Rounding the corner he saw the lined gravestones and a pang of sadness ran through his body. It had been such a long time since he was last here, guilt encased him the previous time, but this time he was determined to pay his respects fully.
Walking further down the path he saw a familiar woman sitting on one of the benches. Anna, and her new born daughter. Another person he had neglected recently, for two reasons; she was a new mother so he didn’t want to interrupt any bonding time and his fear over telling her he had resigned. Shoving his hands in his pockets he walked over to her.
“Afternoon Anna,” he said “How are you?”
