Lo is a bit jaded and a lot gruff, preferring to keep to himself. Straight out of NYC, he's more street smart than book smart, quick thinking, and a bit rough around the edges. He tends to watch more than interact, but Lo isn't above stepping in when he feels its necessary. He's a good guy deep down. Way deep down.

Friends: Lo needs drinking buddies more than friends. People he can grunt at over a cold beer. He'll probably have more general acquaintances than real close friends.

Enemies: He can seem a bit cold, but I doubt people would see him as much of a threat or take his gruffness seriously. They're more likely to ignore him, or overlook him completely, but if you've got a plan, I'm game.

Lovers: People annoy Lo, but he's not blind. A pretty face can soften his hard personality.

Effie and Lo: Hmmm... maybe drinking buddies, but more likely Effie irks him a bit. She'd probably get a kick out of badgering him, especially if she knows it bugs him. Yay, reluctant friends!

I just quickly read Lo's profile, and he sounds like the complete opposit of Elliot, which makes for trouble methinks. They do have a couple of things in common, like drinking and science, but I can see Elliot just completely ignoring the grumpy old man on the surface and looking a wee bit deeper? Maybe they could start out as okay ish friends and get kinda close but niether will admit it? After all, Elliot could use an extra set of eyes (:

Elliot & Lo:: Sounds like a reluctant friendship on Lo's end. Maybe he tolerates Elliot because the kid's brilliant and a good drinking buddy? Deep down, WAY deep down, maybe he'd consider him an actual friend? I like the sound of it. And you're right, even if they get close, Lo would never admit it.
