APPEARANCE:
Lucinda has a lot of features similar to her mother, like her mother, she has soft features and a somewhat round face. However, like her father, her complexion is more tanned then pale, which she is grateful for. She has convinced herself that a pale face with light hair wouldn't suit her. There is little colour in her cheeks, however, when she blushes colour floods her whole face, making more obvious to other's if she's embarrassed.

Like her father and her elder brother, Lucinda has blonde hair. However, unlike her sibling and her father, whose hair is completely blonde, she has inherited some of her mother's hair colour, so there is an undertone of brown within her hair, creating a golden honey colour. Her hair is soft and has ringlets in it. Lucinda loves her hair the most, because it's her best feature and reflects her character and her birth year... the eagle.

Like her mother, Lucinda has light yellow/brown eyes, rather like an eagle. Her eyes seem to sparkle a lot, and their is a mischievous hidden within them. As she has a weakness for pulling pranks, much like her parents, she often finds herself with a small glint in her eyes when she's about to cause trouble. However, over the past few years, she's started to calm down, but every so often, the glint will return and she'll let loose.

Lucinda is the just taller then her elder brother, who is the shortest in the family. Standing at five foot and six inches, she often finds herself being teased for her height by her other brother and her sister. However, she tries not to let it affect her as she knows that looks aren't everything, especially when you have the ability to change them

PERSONALITY:
Although Lucinda is a part of the royal family, she is not stuck up in any way, and although it's assumed her life is secluded, this is in fact untrue. Like her elder siblings, she was sent to learn with every other Changeling, as her parents didn't want their children to be separate from others, and they wanted their children to lead a normal life. Thanks to this, Lucinda has grown up to be very kind and understanding, she is compassionate for her people, and hopes she can do all that she can to help them.

Lucinda sometimes finds herself overprotected by her mother, and although she is unaware of it, there is a good reason for it. There is a prophecy among her kind, foretelling of two Changelings containing the two great spirits of the world. The two would bring about balance in their world again, and she happens to be one of them. Because of this, her mother is very protective of her, and because of this, Lucinda has founds herself taking risks and doing all she can to break from her mother's shadow. Although she doesn't hate her mother, she does find it annoying to find that she is unable to have the same freedom as her siblings.

Although she's calmed quite a lot, Lucinda does have a wild and mischievous side to her, something she got from hearing of her own parents pranks that they pulled. Although not as good as her parents, Lucinda is able to put on quite a performance, and can use her intellect to pull many different varieties of tricks. However, as she's grown older, she's started to calm a little, for although she's only a child, she often feels that she has to be more sensible, and she often feels a strange pain within her, a compassion to make the pain in her world stop. And because of this, she has decided to put aside her pranks in order to find a way of ending the pain and darkness in her world.

Because of this compassion she often feels, Lucinda is quite a feisty girl, and can be rather stubborn. If she feels she has to do something, she'll do it, regardless of the dangers or consequences. She often finds herself in trouble because of this, and not always from what's happening, but mostly from her own parents' anger. But Lucinda refuses to listen to reason, she won't allow people to die when she could easily do something.

Like all Changelings, Lucinda is intelligent and is a skilled at hand to hand combat, or rather claw to hand. She has just finished her years of schooling and achieved top marks in all of her subjects. Those who know about who she is state that it aided her in some way, but Lucinda, unknown to what resides within her, believes she's just got a sharp mind. It is unsure what is true, but Lucinda is glad to have such understanding, as she believes it will aid her in some way.

HISTORY:

Before I can tell you of Lucinda's life, we must go back to the beginning, otherwise their will be many loose ends, and her story will not make sense if they are not tied.

The Changelings used to live in peace and joy, their world looked as if it were untouched, for no technology polluted their land. But those that inhibited the Earth grew in knowledge and soon they made contact. Being curious The Changelings answered their call. A wormhole had created itself between the two worlds, and through curiosity, the two were able to meet one another.

At first, there was peace between the two races, and they each shared secrets of their own world. However, the Earthlings began to become obsessed and thirsted for the deeper secrets of the Changeling race, so the Earthlings were turned away. A few of the Earthlings did not agree with the decision and an onslaught began. The people of Earth learned the ultimate weakness of the Changelings, and it seemed that soon, there would be none left.
However the guardians of Aeden, five powerful Changelings and the high council decided to break the gateway and put a curse on Earth. They turned the Earth backwards. And took it back in time and erased their memories so that none of them would remember anything about them. When it was completed the Changelings felt at peace, the Guardians had given their lives, but it became apparent that it wasn't worth it, for their own planet was cursed. War began to spread among the Changelings, hate and anger consumed them, and it seemed there would be no end.

Those that committed high treason were cursed and sent away from the planet. Through interbreeding a new sub-species of Changeling was created. These were liquid based and couldn't hold their form for long. With the new Changeling out in the world, the others felt safe, hoping that this meant they wouldn't be sought out.

One day an old Changeling saw a vision. A vision which gave them hope: and with it a prophecy. This prophecy foretold the coming of a Changeling who would lead her people out of the darkness and bring light and peace to her people. Who would use her powers, to destroy darkness and hate forever. As the legend spread among the lips of many hope began to grow. All the Changelings could do was wait, wait and hope that she, the chosen one would come soon; and save them from their torment and ordeal.

And so, Lucinda was born, though it had been millions of years since the prophecy had first been whispered, it was a blessing when she arrived. Her mother, Kadeligh had given birth to three other children: Natyal, Lolai and Brintal. Her mother upon discovering who her daughter was, thanks to her brother and advisor Natal ordered that none would reveal who she was. Because Natal was the keeper of stories and legends, he had revealed the contents of the prophecy and what it meant, and she feared that if people knew who her daughter was, that the parents of the 'evil one' might seek her out and kill her.

So Lucinda grew up, not knowing who she truly was. Like her brothers and sister, she would often listen to Natal's stories of her mother. Thanks to her mother's orders, Lucinda was never told Natal was her uncle, Kadeligh believed that Natal might have been used against his niece, and she wanted to protect her daughter as much as possible. It often led to disagreement with Straloch, her husband and Lucinda's father, for it seemed the two had contrasting ideas on how much Lucinda should know. But because Lucinda was royalty by blood, Straloch had little choice. And so Lucinda grew seeing Natal as merely a servant and a friend to her family, and nothing more.

Attending school was a bit of a challenge for Lucinda, all of her family were either fully trained or had almost completed their training, so Lucinda found herself with no one to look out for her or to go to. At first she was rather shy but she soon came out of her shell and began making friends. However, she was asked and ordered not to communicate with the Ravana family. They had recently had a son Dracul, and Natal suspected he was the evil one. But even if he wasn't, Kadeligh and Straloch told Lucinda she wasn't allowed to befriend him. The two families had been rivals for many years, and Kadeligh was still bitter for Malcan Ravana killing her father and hunting her down, all because he was jealous. However, Lucinda found she couldn't help herself, she felt herself drawn to him and the two became friends. Sometimes, she would be afraid of him, for his eyes were jet black and he was often cold, but she loved him, not like a boyfriend, but like a brother, and she couldn't bear to let her parent's orders tear them apart.

She soon graduated at the top of her class after learning how to fully control her powers, and learning all about the universe and how the sprits of her world connected them all. Once she left her classes behind, she was questioned on what role she would take, for as the youngest, she couldn't become the next ruler. Unsure of what path to take, Lucinda decided to take the 'Friend Of the Forest' test, something that many Changelings take. Those who passed the test and gained their own personal mark because Guardians of the land, and if ever a Changeling broke the laws of the land, or there was trouble, those who had the mark would be called to put things right. The test was hard for Lucinda, for she often took the most dangerous approach in order to save their chosen victim. However, after a year of training and a few tests, she passed and a mark of ivy was put upon her skin to signify her approach to missions.

The U.S.S Enterprise encounters Aeden, which is currently under attack from their greatest enemy the Rayal, creatures who can control technology and travel at the speed of light. After encountering the crew, the Chahandra family begin to warm to the members or the Enterprise, and Kadeligh asks Kirk to look after Lucinda if anything should happen to her. A few days later she and the rest of Lucinda's family are killed by Dracul who has come to fulfil the prophecy and enslave the world. Lucinda then hides away on the U.S.S Enterprise to escape from Dracul and to save her planet from being engulfed in his darkness.

It was night, and Lucinda found herself beside the Denali Falls, a beautiful set of small waterfalls surrounded by the Quira Forest. It was said to be the most magical place in all of Aeden, and though she had seen a lot of her planet, she couldn't deny that this place had a certain... spark to it. The way the water reflected the night's sky was amazing, it seemed to shine like thousands of diamonds, if it weren't for the fact that the water was currently being used by two mustangs, then Lucinda would have jumped in, for it look incredibly inviting.

This place held so much history for her family, for it was where her father and her mother often spent time together, and it was also where he had proposed to her before she'd been forced to flee to Earth to escape from Malcan Ravana. He had sought to kill her and her father and obtain the crown. He was a jealous man and had hated Lucinda's grandfather for marrying the woman he had loved. His jealousy and his anger had caused so much pain for her family, and although Malcan had paid the price for his treason, it seemed that there was still a lot of hate between the two. Neither appeared willing to forgive the other, and it angered Lucinda Wasn't there enough hatred in this world? Her mother often talked of the importance of love and forgiveness, yet she wouldn't apply it to the Ravana family, and because of it, Lucinda was forced to hide her friendship with Dracul. It just wasn't fair, she cared deeply about him, he was a brother to her, and yet she wasn't able to tell anyone because she knew her mother would be angry.

As the mustangs pulled themselves out of the water, a sigh escaped the young Changelings lips and she looked once again to the sky. She had studied Astronomy, and the stars seemed to cry out that danger was near, yet Lucinda was unable to work out what it might be. Her father had always been best at Astronomy, and he could apply it easily to predict what was to come. But Lucinda lived in a dangerous time, there was danger all the time, it was too hard to try and pinpoint it.

The sound of a twig snapping in two pulled Lucinda's attention away from the sky, and a small growl erupted from her throat. Her mind raced through different forms she could take if her safety was in danger, but as she sniffed the air her body relaxed and a smile spread across her lips. "Dracul, I was beginning to think you wouldn't show. Her voice was soft and gentle as she spoke to her friends, the two had arranged to meet one another here the previous night, for now that the two had finished their lessons, they didn't often get to see one another. "It's good to see you."
