Every day the average person is faced with at least one question that begins with the words What If. They might be asked by someone else, or it may be something they ask themselves. The what if stands for the consequences of an action. It's almost the same as saying "What will happen if I do this?" or "How will this affect me?" Some of these questions are easy to answer. "What if I go swimming today" or "What if I wear flip flops?" Other times the question can be a bit harder to answer. A bit more complex. This is especially true for teenagers and young adults. When you pass the large yellow sign welcoming you to Greenville you might notice something. Trees, grass, and emptiness. You are now, essentially, in the middle of nowhere. The boondocks as some call it. The closest, decent sized town is about 2 hours away. Greenville has always been the favorite of retired couples, new families, and parents who want a safe place to raise their children. Though in Greenville you are not guaranteed to get it. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. Kind of the unofficial town motto. The parents who move to Greenville expect it to be safer than a city, and in some ways they are right. But teenagers get bored easier around here. And more of them turn to... inappropriate activities. Of course, sex and drugs aren't the biggest problems. Drama spreads faster than the plague in Greenville. Enemies are made as quickly as they are forgiven, and friends have been known to stab each other in the back more than twice in one day. Sometimes it makes you wonder… what kind of person would want to live in a town like this?
