PERSONALITY:
Edward is a wonderful man once you get to know him. Most people don’t get to know him because he either doesn’t speak or literally walks away. He gets pretty far from his long legs too. Edward has been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder and it's not too hard to see when he's talking with someone or rather, not talking. There is medication involved, but he's trying to loosen himself up on his own.

He is a classic movie and good romance novel enthusiast. He’ll stay at home all day and watch movies or read twenty-seven books. He can actually read that fast too. Edward is very smart about his History. He'll ramble on and on excitedly about anything that took place more than a hundred years ago. Unless he's talking about the classic movies, then that would be more like sixty years ago.

He has no idea that some women find his shy and meek nature attractive. At least he isn't a slobbering pig that will pick up anyone, student or not. He's a real sweetheart, chivalry coming naturally to him. He enjoys the outdoors, walking and running almost every morning when no one else is awake. He exercises quite a bit every day, though the length of his body doesn't show it.

Edward has a resolution, so to speak, to start talking to people and keeping his feet firmly planted without making up an excuse to leave. He thinks he's doing well so far, but it is a slow process. He'll say a few words about the weather and other bits of small talk before eventually getting scared, but it's longer than nothing at all.

HISTORY:
Edward Lee Digby was born to very quiet parents. Being a quiet baby himself, it never bothered him. Apparently, their childhood had been interesting as well, for Edward was always being taught how to be better. Etiquette and chivalry. Though his parents always wanted him to sit straight at the table, he was always slouching and trying to hide his face even from his parents. Feeling that he was not learning as well as they wanted, they had another child. A daughter. Edward was seven at the time and found responsibility for helping raise his sister. His parents were wrong about trying to teach her what they couldn't teach Edward. She was a free spirit and did what she pleased. He had been home schooled and she had been changed to public. After seeing her jump around and have friends, he wanted the same but found that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't. His sister hated him at first, like all girls tend to hate boys, but after she grew and became more mature, she started to grow out of her phase and talk to Edward. She helped teach him what home schooling could not. He could now speak what he had to say to people in order to get by. Edward loves his sister dearly.
