Here, four huge view ports afforded a spectacular view of the ship's warp nacelles and space beyond.

To the sides, small plant areas held flora from several worlds and a small pool featured freshwater tropical fish. Just forward of this section of the lounge were two privacy areas. In each privacy area, a view screen was mounted into the wall, providing a full exterior tour of the vessel.

The gymnasium is dedicated to physical fitness and exercise. There is an aerobics studio, martial arts area, a weight room, and even a basketball court. Almost anything you can think of is in the large area of the gymnasium.

Gorgeous plant life is watered daily by automatic systems and showered with artificial sunlight. Everything a plant would need is here. A gorgeous place that is for relaxation of crew members and also for research of the plants.

This rec room is capable of creating pre-programmed illusions using holographic scenes, simulated weather including wind and temperature, and sounds played from audio tapes. The scenes it created included an 18th century European hedge maze, forests, blizzards, and a beach with seagulls. Even though the scenery extended beyond the room, one can still be able to walk up to and touch the walls during a simulation.
